Hi, I'm Hamza.
A product engineer based in Toronto.

AAmount of biography to showabout me.
Building things has always been a passion of mine. From as far back as I can remember I've always gotten joy from creating things in the physical world. Whether it be building with Lego, making a jigsaw puzzle, folding origami, creating personalized gifts, or designing and machining parts on my high school robotics team; I always took pride in my creations and loved the process of building something from nothing.
I was also very online from a young age. Playing online games, burning CDs, sailing the high seas, and exploring the internet in the late 2000s were some of my first exposures to the world of software. I spent hours on StumbleUpon clicking through link after link and seeing all the interesting things people were building on the web. I spent an ungodly amount of time on MapleStory and Minecraft where I learned about modding and hosting private servers to play with friends. In high school I bought a 4th generation iPod Touch, my first ever Apple product, which introduced me to the world of jailbreaking.
Looking back, it only makes sense that I pursued a career in software, it's been an immense interest and passion of mine for decades and it empowered me to build in an increasingly digitized world.
As I got older I started paying more attention to the details and craftsmanship that defined great software. I've always admired those that take their craft seriously and it's a quality that I strive to emulate. Most of my professional life has been spent building productivity tools, currently at Fellow.
Nowadays, I scratch my itch to build by tinkering with my 3D printer, improving my smart home, or working on this website. I love to run, work on DIY renovations, and practice my coffee brewing skills.
